About
Chris Hennessee, an East Tennessee native, moved to Nashville in 1998 to pursue his dream of becoming a country music singer and songwriter. With 25 years of performing around the world and sharing the stage with legends like Jamey Johnson, Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, and George Strait, Chris has now embarked on a new journey, inspired by a nudge from the Holy Spirit. In the fall of 2023, while working on his 2006 Winnebago, a vehicle he initially bought to flip, Chris received a message from a friend that read, “God doesn’t call the qualified, he qualifies those he’s called.” At that moment, Chris realized he was standing in his new mobile studio. He named the RV “Judy,” after its previous owner, and began transforming it into the “Armored Car,” a mobile podcast studio to take the show directly to his guests.
Our Mission
The mission of Fully Armed is to use conversations and stories to show listeners they are not alone in their struggles. Inspired by Ephesians Chapter 6, our goal is to encourage listeners to put on the full armor of God, finding strength and hope in His word. We aim to provide a “light in the darkness” for those in need of inspiration and guidance.
The Armored Car: "Judy"
The heart of our podcast is our mobile studio, affectionately known as the "Armored Car" or "Judy." This 2006 Winnebago Outlook, lovingly transformed into a rolling audio and video studio, allows us to bring the show to guests across North America. Born out of a spiritual nudge and the belief that God doesn't call the qualified but qualifies those He calls, Judy represents our commitment to spreading hope and faith wherever the road takes us.
